• Your research question and objective(s).
• Why a cross sectional design is appropriate for your objective(s) and how you will use the results.
• Define your variables: exposure (factors), outcome.
• Describe how you will collect your data, which could be primary or secondary data collection methods. Be specific.
• Describe your analysis plan. Be specific.
• If there might be confounding and/or interaction, explain how you would adjust your analysis appropriately.
• Explain the strengths and limitations, including biases and limitations of your data sources, of your study.
