Suppose the nonprofit organization's mission and goals are a line with that foundation. In that case, the chances of getting a grant are high. Individual funders might want to extend their reach and grant funds to organizations that support their ideology or mission. Motivation for these funders could be reaching a more diverse population or eliciting skills that will positively impact what they support and care about (Zeigler, 2021). Community foundations might be good at finding sources of money but have little experience or the staff to effectively implement programs or projects.
