I work in accounting for a large automotive company, and we have multiple departments that work together up at our corporate office. They decided to dissolve the warranty cancellation department and left it up to each channel to learn the process of cancelling the warranties and delegating who would be taking on the task going forward. Warranty cancellations take a lot of time and the process at the time was not easy to streamline across multiple different channels and manufacturers.
