Purpose:

For students to compare and contrast their current or former Job Description $($JD$)$ with the textbook theory example.

Activity:

Students will compare their JD to the textbook example.

It should include the five $(5)$ basic components including Identification Section, General Summary, Essential Job Functions, Job Specifications $($KSAs$),$ and Disclaimers.

Identify what's missing from your JD via proper editing marks.

Students will upload a copy of their own JD with proper editing marks$--$for a grade.

NOTE: If currently not working$--$download a JD of your choice; if not used or unavailable on your job$--$create one.
