Purpose This assignment is a team analysis exercise. It allows you to experience a team project and assess the team dynamics. It provides an opportunity for you to demonstrate your learning about the proper functioning of a team. This includes providing corrective actions that you took throughout the course and/or recommendations you would suggest for improved performance moving forward. Instructions Use your experience this term to complete the following: Create a written report including the following: 1. Provide an overview of the team: i.e., Members of the team, a short-list of strengths that each member brings to the team (could be personality, background education or experience working in or with teams previously) and one challenge that each team member self-identifies 2. Learning/experience from your role as a facilitator in the group project. 3. Based on the class content, what are your observations regarding your team's performance? 4. What concepts/actions did you apply to assist in performance? 5. What recommendations would you make to enhance the performance of this team should they continue into the future? This includes a values and roles assessment based on Assignment 2. 6. Give a mark for each team members contributions throughout the semester- including the preparation of the group assignment. This could include: participation and contribution during the activity, meetings with the team during class time or in-between classes, support given during in-class activities or outside of class, preparation of the presentation and report, delivering the presentation. This is your opportunity to highlight anyone on your team that you feel did not contribute as equally to other team members. If you did anything throughout the semester to address these inequalities, mention what actions your team took. 7. Over all Conclusions. What has your experience been working on this team? Has it changed any ideas you have about teams? Purpose This assignment is a team analysis exercise. It allows you to experience a team project and assess the team dynamics.
