To experience developing an organized system from scratch. To experience working with a group to develop a taxonomy and$/$or controlled vocabularies.

Description

Create metadata for a resource using Dublin Core or

Schema.org. Use appropriate controlled vocabularies listed in the schema. Your resource may be physical or digital. Provide as full a description of the item as possible and use as many of the terms in your chosen schema as possible.

Avoid multi$-$purpose resources such as computers, tablets, phones, ebook readers, search engines, or social media websites. Your resource should have a single focus $($e$.$g$.$ a car, a book, an exercise bicycle, a subject specific website, an ebook, etc.$)$

Use one of the following schemas. If you wish to use a different schema you must email me first, otherwise, only the following schemas will be accepted.

See the slides, the tutorial, and provided templates$/$example records for examples. Use of the templates for this assignment is highly recommended.

Submission

Submit your metadata record in a word processor table or spreadsheet. Use the tabular format from the slides and examples for your metadata records.
