You have been hired by an educational software company to create a program that automatically calculates the sum of each place-value of two numbers. You can assume that the user of this program will only enter positive whole numbers greater than zero and less than 10,000. Is there a math operation that you can use to extract this information? Look back at "warm-up" exercise #2 if you need another hint. Hint: Once you isolate the "ones" digit you then need to move on to the "tens" digit. One way to do this would be to "throw away" the ones digit so you can focus your attention on the "tens" digit. Is there a way you can do this using a math operation? Comment your source code and describe your code to someone who may be viewing it for the first time.
