Q1a: If you've created a WBS in the past, how would you describe the process you used?

Q1b: If you haven't created a WBS before, have you worked on a project where the team members sat down, listed out the work to be completed, and then divided it up? How did that process work?

Q2: Organizations seems to either really love using a WBS...or not so much. What kinds of best practices have you (or could you) use to help a project team build a better WBS? How can we overcome resistance to creating a WBS, and how can we make creating a WBS as easy as possible for the project team?
