Q4 Calculate Expected Monetary Value (EVM) for the scenario in Figure Q4. (10 marks) You're in charge of an IT project and have discovered a potential danger relating to client demand. You did, however, notice an opportunity to raise the selling price. Risk, on the other hand, is a 10% chance, and if it occurs, you will lose RM 5000 . The chance of opportunity, on the other hand, is 15%, and if it occurs, you will earn RM30,000. Total Smart Solution Collection (TSSC) was established in year 2013 and the founder of this company is Mr.Palanisamy. TSSC have been promoting Indian traditional attires via Facebook and by referrals since established. TSSC was unable to gpen up a physical store as they had insufficient fund and strategic location. In this situation, TSSC have opened. p offers to become dropship agent where interested parties were allowed to take dresses in bulk and sell as much as possible. This method seems to be very inefficient as there were agents whom tend to return the dresses in bad conditions or even mixed-up packages price tag. There were also situations where customers took a.time period of one year to pay off for the dresses they had purchased from agents. Due to this, agents had to pay the company a year later and this has decreased the company sales with the specific agent. Then, TSSC had gpenedup a store nearby in Segamat and the number of dresses that could be sold were limited to the amount that can be displayed in the store's premise. The staffs are also finding it difficult to keep track of the dresses which need to be restocked as there are too many papers to handle. This situation is crucial as Total Smart Solution is trying to maintain less number of staffs. Besides, customers' visit to the store's physical location are impeded by factors such as distance from their residence, traffic condition and availability of parking spots. These hassles have a high probability of causing the customers to drop their idea of visiting the store. Thus, main concern behind the project is to provide an online based platform which could boost the business without having to add extra cost such as premise rent and staff's salary. The work done on this project can be divided into several parts. First, the programming language, PHP and database used is MySQL. These languages were straight forward and easy to be understood as well as practiced. Extra reference was also needed at some point of the coding because of some programming method that was not correct. System will be then deployed in localhost using Apache server in Xampe package. Alpha and Beta testing were conducted to determine if there are any errors. Next, five modules were designed and developed to form a working prototype namely, Home page, Log-in page, Customer profile page, Product Detail page and Payment page. The first module is Login page which requires registered users to login using distinguished ID and password respectively. Profile Page is only offered to the registered customer in which their personal details such as full name, address, e-mail address and phone number is displayed whereby users are allowed to update the details. Next, is Payment page where several online payment methods will be provided to all rustomer. Everyone using the system will be able to view the products sold by TSSC. Stock and delivery updates are made by the staff in charge of the day to update on the list of delivered dresses and new stocks update. The delivery function is to notify registered customers that their items purchased have been delivered and will monitored by staff to keep in track of the items in case customers have not received the items. This system will be used by TSSC manager, TSSC staffs and customers. TSSC manager will be able to generate report on highest dress sale and peak hour which is visited by customers. A statistic based on age, gender and dresses mostly viewed can be also generated. TSSC staffs will be able to update product details and delivery of products. Customers will be able to view products available, order and pay using this system. The main functions are described in the following use case diagram. ISSC Use Case Diagram
