improvements in people$$s lives, whether at the point of daily service delivery or whether larger projects for the greater longterm

good are involved. All the managers try to make plans and assumptions for future and these predictions are made on

the basis of past experiences of the manager and with the regular and intelligent scanning of the general environment.

Critically discuss the importance of planning in the public sector to improve service delivery. In your response, discuss the
