Group buying is another e-commerce supply chain trend fuelled by COVID-19 restrictions in Singapore. People staying in the same neighbourhood band together to place bulk orders for items to reduce delivery costs and enjoy discounts from suppliers. They place orders through Telegram chat groups, and then pick up the items at the home of the group-buy host.
