Question 1. Let's clean up the data from the early decreasing birth rate. Subset the data to the data since January 1948. You should end up with a data set with 144 records. Plot the number of birth through time again, with the OLS and Loess regression lines. Question 2. To try to remedy the serial correlation we found when we ran the DW test, let's fit an AR(1) model to the data. Use the first difference procedure to fit your AR(1) model and report your estimated coefficient in your original space (i.e., back-transformed).
