Read an article or a report that has done some form of research and explains some form of research method (such as using a sample group or a group of population or a form of machine, technology, IT, etc.); or has collected some form of data from a group of people or from a piece of technology or a machine etc.; or has tested something; or has observed something; or has answered some research questions: or has tested some form of hypotheses; or has presented some form of tables, charts, graphs, numbers, etc. or has used a combination of at least some of these things. Make a summary of that article or report and at the end of the summary write a few sentences about your positive and negative impressions about that article or report (your impression can be positive points about some aspects of the article or report and negative points for some other aspects of the article). Your impression can be about different things that you see in the article or report such as the way of presentation of the article or report; the type and taste used in presentation; the language used in the article. (Example of positive impression: the article or report language was understandable and clear); (Example of negative impression: the article or report used graphs only, too many graphs, but in some places tables could be also used), etc. Your summary and your impression together should be one page and half to 2 pages, but not more than 2 pages, typed, double-spaced, font 12. You can choose an IT research article or report if you are in IT program, or you can choose a business or management research article or report if you are in Business or management program.Make sure that you write the summary in your own language and words, not just copying from an article or report and attaching it as your summary.
