As part the course, she needs to engage with lengthy and complex literary works, analysing themes, characters, and critical perspectives. For her upcoming assignment, Sarah must demonstrate a deep understanding of a novel by a renowned author. This requires her to delve into its historical context, thematic elements, and critical reception, presenting her insights in a comprehensive manner.
2.1 Having read the novel, Sarah must now explore ways of enhancing her understanding of it. She decides to write a short, simplified synopsis of the novel.
