above the channel bottom is placed in the channel.

Sketch the water surface profile upstream and downstream of the weir. Identify the location of

controls, label the water profile curves and include the water depth at all key locations including

hydraulic jumps, if present. Do not calculate water surface profiles using the direct step or

standard step method.
