Question \# 3 The floor area on the third floor of a bank's new office building is 14m21m. This area is organized as five equal sized (49m2) open area offices to accommodate five departments of the bank which will move on this floor of the building. The stairs and other facilities on this floor occupy another 49m2 of space in one corner of the building. The traffic information between pairs of departments is given in the matrix below. Assume that the trips take place between the centroids of the open office areas. Also assume that the traffic between these departments and other floors of the building or the other facilities on this floor are similar to each other and therefore can be ignored when locating the departments.
