and estimated head loss through the bend is 0.4m3s and 0.5 m respectively. If the
bend has a volume of 0.0075m3 and the pressure at the entrance to the bend is 300
kPa , calculate the magnitude and direction of the resultant force that the bend support
will have to withstand.
