Video game addicts Despite their tremendous success, video games don't always look good. Indeed, these games are often criticized for the violence that characterizes them especially when the goal is to shoot at random at everything that moves and the resulting carnage is also very realistic. They are also considered "desocializing", especially among young people. By spending so many hours there, players are drawn into a virtual space-time that is no longer that of the world in which they live. Little wonder then that there can be a cut in ties with society and a withdrawal into oneself, and even, in the worst cases, confusion in the minds of the players with the heroes they bring to life on the screen. Yet there are no regulations to protect gamers from these games which are after all designed to create the addiction to screen gaming which is now a recognized disease. How many hours of play per day can we talk about abuse or addiction? You can't answer that question in quantitative terms, but when the player feels like dropping out and he can't, he can be considered ill.

Much like medication or food, games outside of moderation can lead to serious harm to your health. We can even see physical problems such as significant weight loss in players who spend all their time in front of the screen without thinking about eating, or unhealthy weight gain caused by their lack of exercise.

If addicts live alone, their addiction may go unnoticed, but when video games become the main or only center of interest, we normally observe disturbing changes in behavior: abandonment of all social life, refusal of any interaction with others, loss of interest in family, work and school life. What was a mere distraction ended up invading their lives.
