Assume that lot-for-lot (L4L) lot sizing is used for items A, B, C, and H, while D, E, and F require multiples of 50, 100, and 150, respectively. The company has some on-hand inventory of parts from earlier production periods: D (40), E (100), and F (150). During the week 1 the company is scheduled to receive 100 units of A, 500 units of E, 600 units of F, and 400 units of H. There are no other scheduled receipts. Gross requirements for item A are 200 units in week 5 and 250 units in week 8. a. Show the bill-of-material (product structure tree). b.
