Methodology The survey was conducted by Google form. We share it through social communication media with consumers, potential consumers, and stakeholders. The Google form consists of 15 questions. We collected data such as their demographic information, needs and preferences, online behavior, competitive analysis, marketing and promotion, trust and security, customer support, personalization and recommendation, loyalty, and program offers, conducting this survey. In the demographic section, we ask them their age and gender. In the consumer need and preferences, we gather information about their preferences for buying products or services through; social media apps or dedicated e-commerce websites, what types of products or services they buy the most, and what challenges they face in their daily life. Whilst making a purchasing decision about which type of product or service presentation they prefer the most, their preferred payment methods, and delivery time. The survey also consists questions of about their opinion on the strength of their preferred e-commerce platforms, and the reasons for switching from one e-commerce platform to another if they ever have. We also find out how the consumer usually discovers new products or online stores. How loyalty programs and offers are likely to influence their decisions. The survey also determines the factor for building trust and security for operating an e-business, the importance of customer services, and customer support. How personalization and recommendation impact customer buying decisions. To what degree do they consider customer reviews and ratings when making a purchase decision. From 18 to 44 years old people participate in the survey, which gives us valuable insight to formulate strategies and implement them to make an e-business venture successful.
