Quick question for you. Does all LTL or TL freight have to be palletized? I$\text{'}$m working with a client who has oddly shaped commodities and am struggling to figure out how to palletize them.

No$,$ it doesn't. Depending on the commodity, you can load an entire trailer with cartons stacked from floor to ceiling across the entire trailer length. Also, oddly shaped commodities can be loaded without pallets.

Yes, it does. Unfortunately, safety regulations prohibit freight that is not palletized because free freight is more likely to move around during transport.

It depends. If the commodity is fragile or exceeds a certain weight per unit, it must be palletized. If it is neither fragile or overweight, you do not have to use pallets.
