ReinforcedConcreteDesign(1)Assignment
Answer the following question:
The Figure below shows plan for floor system consists of solid slab and supported beams. The interior beam width b=300mm and the slab thickness t=110mm. The finishing load on the slab FL=3.0kNm2 and the live load on the slab LL=2.0kNm2
Given: ,f'=28MPa,fy=420MPa, Concrete cover =40mm
Stirrup dimeter, O?10mm, Reinforcement bar diameter, O?18mm
Width of beams: 300mm, Columns dimension: 300**300mm
Required:
1 Design the interior beam for positive and negative moments using reinforcement bar diameter, O?.18mm. Draw beam sections showing all dimensions and reinforcement details.
2 Design the interior beam for shear using stirrup dimeter, O?10mm. Arrange the stirrups along the beam span and draw the shear reinforcement details.
3 Locate the theoretical cutoff points and establish the length of all bars at the positive and negative moment regions. Illustrated sketch is needed.
4 Verify all the ACI code requirement to control the deflection and cracks.
5 Design the slab
4 Design column C1 and C2
