For this problem, we will return to the birthwt dataset. We are interested in determining whether or not the birth weight of children born to mothers who smoke is different from the birth weight of children born to mothers who do not smoke. Assume that the population standard deviations are different and unknown. Recall that in the dataset, the bwt column contains the babys weight and smoke is a categorical variable which equals 1 if the mother smokes and 0 if they do not. 1.
