You must look at all the potential hazards and risks of your decisions. As some of you may have seen in the news, there was a significant train derailment in East Palestine, OH on February 3rd. The wreckage included at least five tankers with potential toxic chemicals. Officials determined that an evacuation was required as the released and burning toxic chemicals could cause death or serious injury. For your discussion topic this week, I want you to review the issues that authorities had to consider when reviewing this situation.
