Amazon Positives Amazon has a customer driven business model where the customer is at the center of everything they do. Their workplace is designed to fit people with specific qualities: Achievers Critical Thinkers Extroverts

Training: Amazon offers great training programs for employees. They have great benefits for employees such as dental care, vision care, Paid Time Off and Holiday Paid overtime, 401(k) Plans, and their workplace has plenty of diversity and inclusiveness.

Amazon Negatives: o Amazon has an unusually high turnover rate upwards of 100%. o Amazon Manufactures their products overseas which leads to cheap products being sold, poor quality control, and possible child/forced labor audits. o Amazon's company has been known to pay minimal taxes. In the years 2016-2018 they paid 0% in taxes, whereas in 2019 they paid 2.1% in taxes. o Swayed customer reviews. o Ad Placements (Tracking and Cookies) o Amazon's warehouse conditions for their workers are considered inhumane with limited bathroom breaks.

Google Positives: Google's culture is built on quantitative and qualitative data. Google has always been known to embody a fun environment for their workers. Consistently ranks on the list of one of the best places to work. Gives workers a flexible schedule and allows them to be creative with their work. Encourages autonomy to increase productivity.

Uber Positives: Uber creates challenges for its employees to bring on motivation. The work environment is friendly and casual. Uber also has great benefits for their employees. 401(k) Paid vacation and holidays. Great insurance plans. Employee Discount They allow rapid growth within the company for employees. Strongly values diversity and inclusion. LGTBQ+ Women Minorities

Uber Negatives: Environmental and City impacts: Decrease in taxi industry Decrease in public transportation Increase in congestion Increase in emissions Safety of Passengers and Drivers for Uber has always been a concern for a lot of people. Home Depot Positives: Home Depot is built on support and progression. Provides a work environment that is inclusive and diverse. Home Depot employees are encouraged to make an impact on the company. They want their workers to be able to grow within the company. They offer their employees advancement opportunities with resources available to help with development.

Home Depot presents with an inverted pyramid where customers are the number one priority. Excellent Services Training Programs Strategies It's important to them to build strong, enjoyable relationships. They are big on teamwork and being one big community.

Conclusion: To Buy or Not to Buy? After a short survey taken between our group, out of 9 people, everyone said that they would continue to support unethical businesses simply because of the convenience. Thus, concluding that people will oversee ethics for their own benefit.
