Read the following case study and answer the questions at the end?
Cliff Regis School has provided elementary education, from kindergarten to eighth, for decades in the sector where it is located. Although other establishments in the sector have had difficulties, Cliff Regis School has maintained a good level of enrollment, while others have seen their number of students decrease. In recent years, the sector has had a remarkable development in terms of new housing construction, such that, within a 10-mile radius of the school, there are at least six (6) new high-rise construction and number of apartments. According to the information provided by the municipality, it is expected that in one (1) more year these homes will begin to be inhabited. Although they are happy with the school, parents constantly complain that there are no places in the context where children can participate in other extracurricular activities. They would like their children to further develop literary, sports and musical talent. Parents see that other schools have many alternatives for workshops or that there are specialized schools where children go to sports, arts, or language classes, but Cliff Regis does not offer those possibilities. The school has an enrollment of 360 students and although it is not among the best schools with the best indicators in the educational region, it is not among those with low results either. The teachers are comfortable in the school, they comply with their schedules, and their level of absenteeism is within the average for the educational region. They believe that it is an orderly school, with good discipline, where everyone knows how to do their job. The teachers award the order to the directors they have had. All of them have been characterized by an autocratic style, a lot of presence and control of all the processes in the school, highly hierarchical and with no possibility of being involved in its planning and management. Somehow, this style has allowed them to stay away from the issues that today concern most of the school system, such as violence, affectivity, bullying and sexuality in young people, abuse, and so on. Although parents prefer the school to remain that way, students between grades 6 to 8 have increased their demands for greater participation and to open the school to the community, this because they feel isolated from what is happening around them. A few months ago, the current school director announced his retirement, so a process for the selection of one (1) new official began. Sometime later, the teachers were informed of who would occupy the position. It struck them that the style of the new school principal, known for the way he ran other schools, was so different from what had prevailed at Cliff Regis. It was said of him that he did not make decisions without consulting his close team; that there was greater autonomy in carrying out tasks; that parents and students participated in the management of the faculty; and that teachers had to assume other tasks because they were included in solving school problems, among other distinctive elements of their management style. Faced with their imminent admission to the school, several teachers expressed their dissatisfaction, they felt comfortable with the way the schoolwork until then and they were not willing to give one (1) minute more of their time to other tasks that, according to them They were not part of their responsibilities.
