In the preschool room at Springwater LDC the children are engaging in indoor/outdoor play. There are various play experiences set up in both areas and children can move freely around the areas at will. Indoors, there are experiences such as a reading corner with cushions, creative arts table with wool, glue, fabric, scissors, tape, paper, pencils and an easel nearby, dramatic play corner with a mirror and a selection of dress-ups, large block/construction area with a variety of different sized blocks, pipes and wooden off cuts, a cupboard of puzzles and games. Some of the outdoor experiences include a sand and water area with lots of donated kitchen pots, pans and cooking utensils, large motor climbing space, a table with paints and small table easels, natural creek bed, grass area with hoops and balls, a chicken coop, vegetable garden and large tree with a blanket and cushions.
