The organizations that are always so successful are the ones that run smoothly and rarely have issues do to the strong polices they put in place to avoid any issues. As stated,"Healthcare policy is crucial because it aids in establishing rules that are advantageous to patients, healthcare providers, and the healthcare system as a whole.Established rules and regulations can help avoid communication problems and human error in medical decisions."(Rogers, 2022). When putting in these regulations it also has to align with the local regulations or agencies require. The three policies I found while researching are data privacy and protection, Non discriminatory policy and environmental.

At Northwell health they follow all three of these policies.

Data Privacy and Protection Policy:

Policy-It states,"We use reasonable safeguards aimed to protect against unauthorized use, disclosure, alteration or destruction of the Personal Information we collect and maintain."(User Account Privacy Policy | Northwell Health, 2023).
