Reflecting on my week two Source critique essay, I realize that I have improved significantly since my ENG121 course. Even with the improvement according to my feedback, I still need to work on my grammar and ensure my sources are scholarly. In this course have benefited most from the weekly research notebooks. I have struggled with using the library to search for my sources. The research notebooks have helped me to choose my search words better to get me to my scholarly sources faster. I'm not sure how long the research process should take. But it always seems to take me a lot longer than I plan for. Applying the tools learned while researching in this class has cut my research time down.

Granted, from the first assignment topic in this course, my research took me to a topic that I had not planned to use. But it made the most sense, given my research and the supporting sources found. So, it is fair to say that because of the skills we are learning in this course, I have been able to narrow down my assignments to a specific topic that I can elaborate on and gain knowledge from about skills in my field.

In order to continue improving my writing skills, I ask that you provide feedback on anything you see in my attached week two assignment. There are many resources to help with the research process in the UAGC library and with the instructor's help. Despite that, I could use some advice on accepting help when I get stuck. My assignments take longer than needed because I am sometimes too stubborn to ask for help.
