Remote communication tools is a huge emerging trend that increased during the pandemic. I know at my company over half our employees are remote with no plans on returning to office. While remote work increased during the pandemic, my company was moving towards a remote workplace before the pandemic began so most of our managers were used to virtual work, and had developed communication tactics to help aid their employees' performance. I have also seen diversity, equity, and inclusion becoming a huge trend in my company where we partake in yearly trainings, and have the ability to join an employee led diversity and inclusion group.
