Reply: I have an experience of using the transaction processing system. I was a supply sergeant in the U.S. Army back in the day and I was mainly using Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-A) to track the inventory, transaction, orders, budget control and etc. It was pretty new system at the time when I was in the service but, I remember that it totally worked and helped units to control their inventory order. The system combined all transaction and it made the federal to track all inventories of unit in one system. Therefore, the number of budget wasting on some unnecessary orders and waste have decreased so much. I saw some people complaining of the system as it is limiting the budgets of each individual units. Well, that was true that we had lower budge ever since by using GCSS-A but, I think it was right thing to do as I thought it is important to buy only things in need and save tax
