Estimating accurately matters because your estimates could determine whether it makes sense to run the project. You start by estimating time because it affects both the project schedule and cost. You also estimate costs that aren't time-based, like materials and ancillary costs. The project I am working on is Project Kuiper.

Project Kuiper is Amazon's plan to build a network of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit to provide high-speed internet to anywhere in the world, including rural areas. As a manager managing project Kuiper, I would use the parametric method to estimate the project's accurate time and cost. Two project deliverables like engineering reports and completed product, the parametric method would ensure that I have actual data based on historical data and project parameters similar to the current. Would use regression analysis of two databases to establish a cost estimating relationship that will correctly calculate the cost based on system performance and design characteristics of the deliverables like labor(engineers) and the materials.
