Research or Google impolite actions, emblems, gestures, etc. in different cultures around the world.

1) Give examples of two (or more), and tell us in what culture this is a taboo. This is NOT a post about superstitions! It is about nonverbal norms and communication.

2) Then, tell us what nonverbal category each taboo belongs to, e.g.: proxemics, eye contact, paralanguage, etc.

Example: One should only touch other people or shake hands with your right hand in the Middle East, as the left hand is considered unclean. This is in the category of "touch" or "haptics."
