respond and provide feedback to this post, My group is planning on implementing an overdose prevention program focusing on naloxone education and trainings to adult opioid users and their families, friends and community members living in the South Bronx. Doing a pilot test of our program will allow us to hear feedback from program participants in terms of how effective the trainers were in facilitating the naloxone trainings, if the information being provided was useful to the community and if the space where the training was offered was accessible and welcoming for participants to attend. This feedback will allow us to make the appropriate changes needed before we decide to phase in the program. During phase in, we could choose one or two different ways in which we can implement the program. One would be by offering different programs. We could start off by offering the naloxone trainings at a specific health center or peer recovery program. The trainings can be offered to staff, opioid users and their families. As a follow up, we can offer workshops to the community that educate their knowledge on opioid use and the stigma attached to it. We could also offer the program
