The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) aims to "protect the health of all Americans and provide essential human services, especially for those who are least able to help themselves." To achieve this mission, HHS has 11 operating divisions. This includes eight agencies in the U.S. Public Health Service and three human services agencies, all of which offer a variety of health and human services. They are follows:

1. Administration for Children and Families (ACF). Mission: To foster health and well-being by providing federal leadership, partnership and resources for the compassionate and effective delivery of human services.
2. Administration for Community Living (ACL). Mission: Maximize the independence, well-being, and health of older adults, people with disabilities across the lifespan, and their families and caregivers.
3. Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). Mission: To produce evidence to make health care safer, higher quality, more accessible, equitable, and affordable, and to work within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and with other partners to make sure that the evidence is understood and used.

5. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Mission: To protect America from health, safety and security threats, both foreign and in the U.S.
6. Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Mission: To ensure that the voices and needs of the populations we represent are present as the agency is developing, implementing, and evaluating its programs and policies.
7. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Mission: Protecting consumers and enhancing public health by maximizing compliance of FDA regulated products and minimizing risk associated with those products.
8. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). Mission: To improve health outcomes and address health disparities through access to quality services, a skilled health workforce, and innovative, high-value programs.
9. Indian Health Service (IHS). Mission: To raise the physical, mental, social, and spiritual health of American Indians and Alaska Native (AI/AN) to the highest level.
10. National Institutes of Health (NIH). Mission: To seek fundamental knowledge about the nature and behavior of living systems and the application of that knowledge to enhance health, lengthen life, and reduce illness and disability.

1) The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) it's one that provides national leadership and also creates lots of opportunities for families to help them lead to an economically, socially and productive lives for each of them, most of the programs are here to help kids develop healthy habits as they grow from a teen into adults.

2) Administration for Community Living (ACL) helps supports the needs of the aging, well-being, and disability populations to work and improve access to their families and caregivers.

3) Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) is that produces evidence to try to make healthcare safer, higher quality that's more accessible, equitable, affordable, and how it works to benefits the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

4) The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) which works to prevent or mitigate the adverse of the human health effects and how to diminished quality of life that can result from the exposure to any hazardous substances that's in the environment and also is one of the most trusted agencies that's protecting American.

6) Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) this mission to me is one of the most efficient, and customer-friendly agency that would strengthen the health care services and information which helps beneficiaries Medicare & Medicaid and to all health care providers that serve them.

7) The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) their mission is to ensure the safety, efficacy, and also the security of human and veterinary drugs, both biological products and medical devices by making sure that safety of the nation's supply of foods, vitamins, and the products that would emit radiation.

8) Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) their mission is to work on improving health outcomes and by addressing health disparities through access to quality health services, and skilled health workforce that innovative programs in the healthcare of the nation.

9) The Indian Health Services (INS) is one of the programs that their mission is to look into raising the physical,mental, social. environmental and spiritual health to the highest level of the Indian Health Services exists because the Indian community is here and we need to serve them also.

10) National Institutes of Health(NIH) mission is to work on seeking fundamental knowledge about how nature and behavior of all living systems and applications of knowledge to enhance the health, that lengthens life, that will reduce illness and disability.
