In the commercial they are advertising a new product of the Gatorade line that is less sugar and has more electrolytes than the regular version of Gatorade. Gatorade is already geared towards athletes and those who may be more health conscious. This advertisement also takes an admiration appeal as Gatorade usually premiers only the top tier of athletes from several sports to advertise their products.

This advertisement's unique selling propositions is their slogan, "Rehydrate, replenish, refuel". By the advertisement already showing the before and after effects of their product, they have shown the benefits but their slogan is also unique that advertises the literal benefits of their products.

The target customer are those into health and fitness. This includes athletes/non athletes, those who lead active lifestyles or those who are just looking for a healthier drink to consume. Although anyone of any age can drink this drink it's more geared towards young adults.
