Who will you meet, what do you need to do, and how can you help others? T stands for Tasks, and it refers to how you will align and handle your priorities and initiatives. Finally, Y represents you in terms of what you will do, how you should behave, like being grateful and looking towards your future. He also goes on to explain his own code of ethics. All of this is significant because it may assist develop the framework for your own code of ethics, which is necessary in today's world to help guide you. Reviewing and revising your code on a regular basis will also assist in keeping it fresh in your mind when you face day-to-day scenarios requiring an ethical judgment. A personal code of ethics may help guarantee that you are acting lawfully and safely. It also assists you in demonstrating to others that you are a person with values that are important to you. I found this video to be very helpful and informative. To put it simply, Mr. Neil further analyzes how Todd Henry explained the importance of establishing your code of ethics in his novel "Die Empty." Neil begins his analysis by further breaking down the acronym Henry provides: EMPTY. E stands for ethics, M stands for mission, P stands for people, T stands for tasks, and Y stands for you. He later connects this acronym to what he calls "Morning Checklist." This concept entails making a list of tasks that need to be done and understanding how your code of ethics impacts being able to do those tasks the way you want.

Establishing a personal code of ethics helps to hold yourself accountable to accomplish your daily tasks as well as your short-term and long-term goals. Your code of ethics represents the glue that holds your values and actions together. Without a code of ethics, your values and actions do not mean much.

I believe this is important in today's world because if people prioritized having a personal code of ethics more often, the world might be a safer and happier place.
