respond to this discussion post whether or not you agree or disagree with the ideas of accuracy vs precision, and offer an alternate real life example to explain to a 10 year old Scenario 1 Precision and accuracy may sound a lot alike but they are actually different ways that scientists are able to measure for possible error. A real-life example where this could be observed is by playing a game of darts. When someone throws a dart three times in a row and hits the bullseye or center of the dartboard then they have both precision and accuracy. If someone else were to throw three darts and they land on the second circle outside of the bullseye then this is considered precise but not accurate. This is because they were able to throw the darts close to each other but not in the intended area or true value. If a third dart player were to have their darts land on the most outer circle of the dartboard, then they lack both accuracy and precision because the darts are landing in sporadic locations with no pattern. Scenario 2 In an accuracy and precision lab a student set a hair tie on a table to be used as a target and three pieces of crumbled up paper to be used as projectiles. The student stood 4ft away from the target and threw the crumbled pieces of paper towards the target. The first toss was 15 inches passed the desired target therefore lacked in accuracy and precision. Because of this the student adjusted accordingly and threw lightly during the next two tosses. The second
