Respond to this I will expand on regression analysis as used in a business environment. Regression models are used for cross-sectional and time-series data, used in forecasting(Evans, 2021). Simple linear regression has a linear relationship with a dependent and independent variable. This is not always the case if there is no relationship or the relationship is not linear. However, if the data shows a general relationship, it will be okay to continue with a simple linear regression (Evans, 2021). It's essential toensures a correlation or relationship between the two variables before continuing with the simple linear regression model. Simple linear regression will help the user understand the strength of the relationship between two variables. Regression analysis shows how the dependent variable will change as the independent variable changes. Simple linear regression is used between continuous variables, and the independent variable's value is used to predict the dependent variable. A simple linear regression should be used with only one predictor, bu tmultiple linear regression must be used with multiple predictors
