rewrite Michael C. Bush's TED talk "This is What Makes Employees Happy at Work" focuses on employees and their happiness and how it's created. One thing that Bush says that stood out to me and that helped me reflect on a personal experience was when he mentions "organizations where employees are happy, what you find is two things present: trust and respect". "Leaders often say, "We trust our employees. We empower our employees" but then when an employee asks for a laptop, it's not a quick yes to giving them one, and that there needs to be approval by multiple people first. The employees then feel like there is no trust and now they aren't happy. Where is the organizational trust
