1 - Your first candidate is a seasoned professional who has worked the territory for a good number of years. She is knowledgeable on all major as well as minor accounts in the area. Her drawback is she like to do it her way as it has been successful for her. She is technology sufficient but it is a bit of a struggle for her to quickly adapt to ever increasing technology that the company is using. We do feel that in a tough environment she should be able to hold our present account position at least for the next two years. 2- The second candidate has been an assistant in a different territory but has performed well in all his assignments. He is extremely eager to move up and be responsible for his own area. He is super technology sufficient and has helped train some of his coworkers in this area. The most serious problem is that he has not worked with accounts and directly and is not familiar with the territory involved. Whom do you choose and why did you choose the candidate of your choice?
