Sandra had to come up with a unique data collection and analysis project to present to the class. After much hair-pulling and teethgrinding, she came up with a cool idea. Sandra's brother mowed the neighbor's lawn every week unless it didn't rain enough for the grass to grow, in which case he'd wait a fe days and then check the status again. She figured there had to be some connection between inches of rain in a week and hours of lawn mowing-or rather, money earned from mowing, since he got paid by the hour.
