The way scope management works is by finding boundaries and figuring out how to maintain control over them while defining what information is needed to keep the project moving forward. The way it helps with jobs is by providing clarification on difficult tasks, which can help reduce and possibly prevent burnouts from happening. This also helps keep the project team on the same page to reduce wasted time due to confusion. This can also assist with scheduling, such as keeping certain tasks within set times and days to get the most out of a limited timeframe. Project managers have a variety of tools at their disposal, such as the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), which gives managers the ability to break project task loads into separate work areas, reducing the feeling of being overwhelmed. Another tool they use is the scope baseline, which is a combined group of tools serving as a waypoint or guide. The way my educational goals align with this form of management is fairly simple. I like to try to use set times and days for work to maximize the time I'm given to work with. I also perform well with grouped assignments, as it helps keep everything moving steadily. The last thing I plan to use from scope management is the preventive methods to avoid burnout."
