Scenario: Hypothetically, UCLA will be hosting a conference, Optimizing Management Communications in Contemporary Canadian Businesses and Organizations. The conference is designed to attract Canadian university students in western Canada and professionals from diverse sectors of business and/or organizations. It can be live or virtual - your choice.

The event will include three presentations. The event is designed to promote awareness of management communications strategies.

You are part of a team responsible for writing a proposal to determine the three presentations that will be showcased at the conference. Your key goal is to decide upon the topics (and subtopics) the presentations would discuss. Your proposal needs to include your rationale for prioritizing these three topics for the presentations, and how they complement one another to form the basis of the conference. Your conference can have a unified theme, or can be diverse it is content; it is up to you to make the rationale behind your decisions clear, well justified, and beneficial for participants.

Your Executive Summary (the only part of the proposal you need to include here for assignment purposes) should provide a persuasive overarching vision for the conference, supported by the inclusion of concise yet detailed descriptions of three separate presentations on topics that you believe would benefit conference attendees. Within your Executive Summary, for each of the three presentations, discuss the topic, contents, and approaches of the presentation, as well as the rationale for your choice for each topic. Discuss if or how the topics and approaches relate to each other, and how this will benefit attendees. Your Executive Summary should not be longer than 250 words.
