- Please ensure that you have a good understanding of the beta and gamma distributions as well as their parameters. It will be good to go through any practice questions involving these two distributions.

- Ensure that you are familiar with the cumulative distribution function and how to obtain it from a given pdf.

- It is good practice to go through questions relating to the change of variable technique in the univariate setting.

- Functions of bivariate random variables is an important section to revise. Please practice all of the class examples and ensure that you understand this section. Ensure that you are able to find the resulting joint density after a bivariate transformation has been defined!

- Ensure that you are able to determine the moment generating function for a piecewise distribution and that you are able to determine raw and central moments for various distributions using the moment generating function.

- You need to be able to understand how the central limit theorem works and use it in a question! There is a question from test 2 that is a very good example to practice with

- You will definitely need to know how to determine method of moments estimators and maximum likelihood estimators. Weekly tutorial quiz 10 is a good quiz to practice with regards to these types of questions.

- You will need to have knowledge of the inverse CDF, Fisher information and variance of estimators.
