As the focus is on strategic leadership, candidates will need to demonstrate their understanding of the company's strategy and ensure that their recommendations and monitoring systems align with that strategy.

1: SC Leadership of KM

Recommend roles and responsibilities supporting the supply chain management professional taking the lead, supplying information and knowledge to the organization, not unlike other goods and services.

2: Service Delivery

Develop leading KM practices as could be operated under a service delivery model.

3: Knowledge Management Audit

If your organization already has a robust KM strategy, audit that process and provide suggestions to enhance it. If not, provides a plan for implementing one.

4: KM System Development Lifecycle

Identify where your organization is on the KM System Development Lifecycle and develop a plan to move them forward.

5: Capturing and Coding Knowledge

Identify how your company captures tacit knowledge and make recommendations on how to improve/formalize and codify this capture of knowledge.

6: Culture and Social Learning

Describe how your organization's culture supports or inhibits social learning. Develop a plan to improve it.

7: Business Intelligence Define what business intelligence means in the context of your organization and describe a better method for capturing or mining data to promote improved decision-making.

8: CPFR Develop a CPFR implementation plan.

Legal, Ethical and Security Issues Provide a structured approach for your organization to adopt with regards to legal, ethical and security issues arising from the current or proposed practices of knowledge management.

9: Information Quality How can you ensure the quality of information being shared within your organization is appropriate for your needs?

10: Information Overload What can you do to ensure access to information as required, especially for employees who don't know what they need to know, without resulting in information overload?

11: Project/Change Management Apply the principles of Project Management and Change Management in your completed report.

12: Knowledge Sharing Address the issues within your organization for why people don't share knowledge
