Instructions:

Read the system description given below. Form groups of $3-4$ members and complete the given tasks.

Online Car Rental System

The objectives of the system are to fully automate all the processes of a Car Rental Company. The system should be able to schedule drivers and vehicles in order to ensure easy and prompt advanced bookings by the customers. It will also cater for employee record management. This will include their personal information, salaries etc. The system will include a module on vehicle maintenance and management as well. This will keep a record of the all the essential information related to the vehicles owned by the company while making sure that the company data is safe and secure $($data losses are minimal$)$ and the customers get speedy services and reliable online renting options.

Task $1[2$ points$]$

Develop a high$-$level design of the system. This high$-$level design should present the main sub$-$systems and their interconnections. Make any necessary assumptions to fill out the system details.

You can use a simple block and arrow diagram or a UML component diagram.

Task $2[8$ points$]$

Based on your high$-$level design, develop a detailed design of the sub$-$systems identified in task $1.$ Create a separate detailed design for each subsystem having the desirable design characteristics.

Use the UML Class diagram to show the designs. Also mention any design issues faced by the team.
