Case Study: Abalone Farm Extension Project

A farmer wants to expand his abalone farm. He has a team of executives to strategise and hires a designing company to design this new farm. He needs to breed another $5000$ abalone. The construction amounts to R$500000$ to R$650000$ that includes additional security fencing and special water filtration systems. He also needs to convince his sponsors an investment company that has a diversified interest in the agricultural industry.

Thereafter his operational costs for feeding, cleaning and hygiene control amounts to R $40000$ per month. It takes $7$ months for the project to be handed over. He is also selling canned products locally and breaks even only approximately $2$ and a half years later.
