Mr Moroka is a Managing Director in a Dikago Investment Company and he is responsible for leading meetings in the company. The people describe him as a dry, too intense and unapproachable person. They usually leave sessions discouraged and disgruntled. They complain that Mr Moroka is too heavy-handed and they are not comfortable with him. On 07 August 2017, the Company conducted a Performance review meeting chaired by Mr Moroka. In the meeting, two new employees were introduced as Human Resources Officer and Chief Administration Officer respectively. An apology was given for the Marketing Manager who was reported to be sick. Mr Modise, Mr Lijane, Mr Phuting and Ms Madiba were reported to be absent. Minutes of the last meeting were adopted without any corrections. The ICT Director Ms Davis reported that a consultant had been contracted to develop an ICT Strategy for the company. As requested in the previous meeting, she reported that the company signed the contract on 13th September 2016. The director pleaded with staff to facilitate the consultant. After the agenda was adopted, the discussions on the employment of temporary staff in the HR Unit concluded with a resolution to hire temporary staff for the posts of messenger and assistant records officer. The HR Manager was asked to have advertised the posts in seven (7) days. On issues of staff Training and Development, the chairperson reported that the company had committed P50, 000 for the Customer Service training. He further mentioned that the receptionist was already attending the Customer Service training at RIPA International in London. The chairperson announced that the results of the Customer Satisfaction Survey that was conducted showed that the company was doing well.
