"Manufacturing and service industries have different strategies, given that there is a difference in the level of customer contact $-$ the service industry has a more significant customer presence than the manufacturing industry. This is due to the manufacturing industry being able to produce inventory, whereas the service industry cannot. Given that in the manufacturing industry the product is consumed at a different location to where it is produced, manufacturing strategies can be used to ensure the availability of these goods $($Kruger et al$.,2018)."$

Considering the paragraph above, explain in detail the three manufacturing strategies that can be used by making reference to practical examples.
